THE DOMESTIC FESTIVAL

The latest topics of research of Limno, garden, landscape and nature in urban context, were translated into two days of meetings in videoconference with guests who found in their relationship with the environment a passion and a profession.

The Domestic Festival was organized in a private flat in Conegliano Veneto. It was at the same time a new way of living the house – the most intimate space became public for a couple of days –and the opportunity to cast a light on nature. The familiarity of the context let participants intervene with immediacy and clearness with others, so that such a complex topic as nature was discussed in a serious and still light manner. During the days before the event, the area around the flat was explored and spontaneous vegetation was identified and labeled. This activity was carried out in collaboration with an agronomist, a geographer and a professional photographer.
